VICTORY FOR HORSES!

Here is the wonderful news: 


The slaughter of horses has been banned in the United States, and the last operating horse slaughter plant, Cavel International, in Dekalb, IL, has been closed down by the U.S. Supreme Court!

Thanks to all of you who tirelessly advocated for the end of horse slaughter, we have finally achieved the results we were fighting for!  Now we just have to stop the transportation of horses for the purpose of slaughter and keep American horses from being transported to slaughter in Mexico and Canada.  Our fight is not over yet!  Please sign the petition to amend the Horse Protection Act to prohibit the shipping, transporting, moving, delivering, receiving, possessing, purchasing, selling, or donation of horses and other equines to...
